Thanks for visiting my page!
Family, Friends & Colleagues,
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe in these unprecedented times. Personally I have to tell you cycling has been a great break from quarantine and face masks for me, and I hope you are able to find an outlet as well.
Since last summer when you sponsored me for the MS 150, I have put more than 6,000 miles on my bike. Some of the highlights include the MS 150, the Hotter N Hell 100, and the Ready to Roll Alzheimer's rides, to name a few. Through our fund raising efforts we have contributed over $10,000 to various charities, thank you for helping out each of these great organizations and contributing to these causes.
I am at it again, this time I have committed to riding 175 miles over a two day period (October 24-25 and I am still debating if I will make it 185 to achieve 100 on the first day), but this time we will be riding for the Galveston Bay Foundation. This ride starts in Baytown and continues around the west side of Galveston Bay ending in Moody Gardens on day one. Day two will cover the east side of the bay back to Baytown. This will be the longest two day ride I have participated in to date.
Similar to my last MS150, I am offering to represent you on my ride and proudly display your last names on the back of my jersey in the form of a word cloud. $25 dollars will get your name in the cloud, and each increment of $25 will double the size of your name. Last year we had a lot of fun with this approach, I’m looking forward to seeing how we do this year! Please use your company matching option while checking out, our company has a new and easy way to log and register for matching contributions.
Thanks in advance for your contribution, and I am looking forward to representing each of you on this challenging and exciting journey around the bay, stay safe!
